Danilo Gristina

Mr. Gristina is the CEO of Genergy Site Services, Inc., and currently leads a team of over 100 professionals.  He is in charge of all executive decisions, administrative and financial operations, HR concerns, and the management and supervision of key customer relationships and projects. Genergy Site Services delivers specialized technical, analytic, and quantitative energy/utility management services to top level commercial real estate management companies. It has been at the forefront of NYC’s Commercial Smart Buildings initiatives for more than 25 years.

Mr. Gristina also owns and manages a handsome portfolio of commercial and residential real estate, and holds Condo Board Member certifications in the state of Florida.

His academic qualifications were fostered through his successes in the fields of mathematics, finance, and accounting at IONA University in New York, from which he graduated in 1990. 

His professional achievements over the past 30+ years were founded on the Gristina family’s strong values of hard work, consistency, dedication, and loyalty.  Over the years, Mr. Gristina’s skills and certifications have grown to include the following: Field Technician; Team Leader; Project Manager; AutoCAD Drafter; Certified Energy Manager; Certified Energy Auditor; Certified Demand-Side Management Professional; Designer of Advanced Metering Infrastructure; Utility Consultant; Utility Cost Allocation and Recovery Specialist; Business Development Specialist; Financial Controller; CFO; COO; and CEO.

Dario Gristina

Mr. Gristina started his professional career with a degree in electronics engineering in the early 1980’s and worked as a Field Engineer for a mainframe computer manufacturers in New York and Quebeq, Canada. In 1985 he joined his Father in developing the Gristina family’s first business enterprise, an electrical engineering/consulting firm that served owners and managers of skyscrapers in New York City. 

Since then, Mr. Gristina founded, operated, bought, and sold, several businesses in the energy management, electrical engineering, construction, and telecommunications industry, including the first-ever company to provide high-speed internet access to large commercial buildings in NYC, and a lucrative USA business venture with a large multinational company.  He has personally developed multiple US patents in the field of energy management and to this day remains quite passionate about science, physics and astrophysics.  

He is currently the Chairman and CEO of General Energy Services, Inc. a leading energy monitoring and management company operating throughout the US east coast.

Mr. Gristina is also passionate about contributing to worthwhile causes.  He has served in an advisory board capacity for Fountain House, an organization focused on helping people living with mental illness, to which Mr. Gristina dedicated well over a decade of his life.  He has also served as a Special Advisor to the Putnam County (NY) Sheriff’s Office for over ten years, during which Mr. Gristina gained unique perspectives into the operations of law enforcement agencies and the lives of those who serve our communities and put themselves at risk every day to protect us.

Fern Kanter

Fern Kanter has over 40 years of experience as an investment advisor in the hospitality industry, working with a wide range of clients including private investors, pension funds, REITs, and sovereign entities. She retired in 2022 as a Managing Director and Partner at CHMWarnick, a hospitality asset management and advisory firm founded more than 20 years ago, which has overseen a portfolio of over 70 hotels nationwide.

Throughout her career, Ms. Kanter has managed major capital improvement projects, overseen budgeting and financial reporting, and worked closely with ownership and management teams on long-term strategic planning, including five-year capital plans to enhance asset value. 

In addition to her professional experience, she has held leadership roles in nonprofit and community organizations, including serving on the board of the Castell Project and charing Castell College, a global program supporting women pursuing careers in hospitality. She has also served in leadership roles at Temple Beth Shalom, including overseeing long-term financial planning initiatives.

Ms. Kanter has served as Treasurer of Faircondo for the past two years, where she has played a key role in budgeting, management transitions, and reserve planning initiatives. Her financial expertise, experience with building systems and governance background support her continued service on the Board of Directors.
